I built TrySnowball because I was in debt and couldn't find a tool that worked for me.

Every debt app I tried was either US-focused (wrong interest calculations, wrong currency) or a spreadsheet template that took an hour to set up and broke the second you changed something.

I wanted something simple. Enter your debts, pick snowball or avalanche, see exactly when you'll be done. So I built it.

What TrySnowball does

TrySnowball runs a month-by-month simulation of your repayments. It tells you your debt-free date and which debt to focus on next. The maths is exact: APR converted to monthly rates, minimums applied, extra payments routed to your focus debt. No rounding, no estimation.

The calculator is free and works without an account. If you want to track your progress over time, the app is free for up to 6 debts.
